The Demmer Library provides residents of all ages opportunities for personal growth and recreation through access to traditional library materials, such as books, magazines, newspapers, audiobooks, DVDs, as well as programs for personal enrichment, meeting rooms, free wi-fi and public computer internet access, kits and games for children and adults, and even a piano for private practice.

Minocqua Public Library


The Minocqua Public Library is a vibrant community center open 57 hours a week to serve residents and visitors to the Minocqua area. Books, movies, music, magazines, and more are available for all ages. The library also offers a variety of programs throughout the year including story time and music garden for toddlers and preschoolers. Book groups and special events are scheduled for school age children through high school.

Rhinelander District Library


Any resident of Oneida County can request a library card at no charge which may be used at all libraries in the Wisconsin Valley Library sertice area, and if valid, at all other public libraries with a borrowing agreement. "Books on the Go" outreach program for older adults.

Wisconsin Talking Book and Braille Library

As part of a national network cooperating with the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (NLS), the Wisconsin Talking Book and Braille Library (WTBBL) provides audio books and brailled materials to persons, living in Wisconsin, who cannot see regular print or handle print materials. WTBBL patrons receive and return books and equipment, postage-free through the U.S. Postal Service. WTBBL currently serves nearly 7,000 registered patrons and over 580 institutions (e.g. libraries, schools, nursing homes, veterans centers).
