Abuse is defined as physical abuse, material (financial) abuse, neglect, or self-neglect of a person who is age 60 or older. Department of Social Services works with other local agences (Law Enforcement, Department on Aging, etc.) to investigate allegations and offer services. All calls are kept confidential.
