Medical Equipment

Durable medical equipment is assistive equipment used in the homes of people who are ill or injured and is paid for by Madicare Part B. In order for Medicare Part B to pay for this equipment, it must: 1) withstand repdeated use, 2) primarily serve a medical purpose, 3) be appropriate for use in your home, 4) be prescribed by your own doctor.
